+I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately and the idea of a [[https://ljs.fun:19000/kirstengetz527|Ergonomic Neck Pillow]] spray has always been quite appealing; smells can be soothing, a comforting presence in the darkness, and often pleasantly reminiscent. Although deep sleep sprays seem rather extortionate for something that can easily be made at home for a fraction of the price. I chose a traditional lavender and patchouli scented spray; both lavender and patchouli have a calming effect which may aid relaxation while reducing anxiety and stress. You may also want to try chamomile, lemon balm, geranium, marjoram, sandalwood, bergamot, or jasmine essentials oils, all of which can help restlessness, insomnia, stress, nerves, and exhaustion. I used a 100ml glass spray bottle filled with distilled water (you could use high proof alcohol such as vodka) and added 100 drops of lavender essential oil along with 55 drops of patchouli essential oil (vegetable glycerine could also be added to help blend oil and water). This creates quite a potent spray, you might prefer a more subtle scent. I don't actually spray this directly onto my pillow but rather around the room and over the bed; only a few sprays are needed as the scent is strong and lingers for hours, making the whole room feel totally dreamy. The first time I used the spray I induced some kind of lavender coma, I became instantly sleepy and my bed never felt more comforting; I experienced the first peaceful, undisrupted sleep I'd had in a long time.
